Exactly 13 years ago, on July 7, 2007, at the General Assembly held in Guatemala City, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee was admitted to the Olympic family – as the 204th member of the International Olympic Committee.

“On that day, our beautiful and successful sports story began, which was crowned by winning, for now, one, but immensely valuable Olympic medal, won at the London Games in 2012.
It is, in a way, a confirmation of a lot of effort and The efforts made by Montenegrin athletes, but also by those who support them, to promote MONTENEGRO, SPORT AND OLYMPIC VALUES, and
on the day of the jubilee there is hope that together we will overcome the situation in which the whole world finds itself and continue where we left off.
With the wish that next year at the Olympic Games our team will be even bigger and more successful, we are marking this day with verses that have been inspiring the OLYMPIC TEAM OF MONTENEGRO for years!
